Mock Trial Tournament

Mock Trial Tournament

Mesa County and Garfield County reached an agreement a few years back that each County would host the Western Slope Mock Trial tournament for two years at a time.  This year is Glenwood's second year of hosting the tournament.

  • There are two rounds on each day.  This year there are 11 teams in the Western Slope tournament including three from Glenwood High School, two from Rifle High School, three from Grand Junction High School, one from Telluride High School and one from Fruita High School.

  • Thus, 5 trials a round, and 10 trials a day.

  • Each trial needs 3 scoring panelists.  Thus 15 a round or 30 a day and 60 for the tournament.

  • Anyone who can score one, two or more rounds, please send Charlie Willman an email (charlie.willman@gmail.com) with what days and times you can do this.

    • Saturday rounds will be at approximately 9:30 and 1:00

    • Sunday rounds at approximately 8:30 and 12:30

  • Coffee and donuts (Coloradough) and fruits etc on Saturday and hopefully burritos on Sunday for breakfast and pizza and sub sandwiches for lunch.

Please reply to Charlie with your availability as soon as you can.  This tournament cannot run without your willingness to assist by scoring one, two or more rounds.
